- NC State Law requires the class to be at least 8 hours in length and at least 2 of those hours must cover the Laws of Use of Deadly Force.
- You will learn: Handgun Handling Skills, the four rules of gun safety and how they apply to defense, marksmanship, types of handguns, handgun parts, defensive handgun attributes, handgun loading (speed reload), drawing from a concealed holster, clearing malfunctions, legal block specific to North Carolina Concealed Handgun laws and use of lethal force, concealed carry techniques, concealed carry gear, ammunition, human physiological reactions in a violent confrontation, legalities of defensive shootings, and post defensive shooting realities.

-This is an 8 hour long 1 Day training course for learning the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship which includes firearms safety, drawing from a holster, proper grip, aiming, loading, unloading, and firing a handgun.
- This class is from 8:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. (Show up no later than 7:55 am)
- We have designed this course to be relevant to civilians if they have to respond to threats with their pistol. There is an included legal lecture designed to teach students when the use of deadly force with a pistol is justified.
- You will learn: Handgun Handling Skills, the four rules of gun safety and how they apply to defense, marksmanship, types of handguns, handgun parts, defensive handgun attributes, handgun loading (speed reload), drawing from a concealed holster, clearing malfunctions, legal block specific to North Carolina Concealed Handgun laws and use of lethal force, concealed carry techniques, concealed carry gear, ammunition, human physiological reactions in a violent confrontation, legalities of defensive shootings, and post defensive shooting realities.

CHURCH SECURITY RESPONSE

- This is our training course designed to create an effective church security team that encompasses the defense principles of martial mindset, tactics, skills, and gear in order to prevent and thwart attacks in the worship setting. NOTE: This is an advanced course. We highly recommend taking our Pistol Defender course or our version of the Concealed Carry Training course as a prerequisite.

- You will learn: Martial Mindset, Tactics, Handgun Skills, the four rules of gun safety and how we apply it to practice and fighting with a pistol, marksmanship, types of pistols, fighting pistol attributes, handgun loading (speed reloads, top off reloads, and emergency reloads), drawing from a concealed holster, clearing malfunctions (types 1, 2, and 3), shooting in motion(forwards, backwards, serpentine, side shuffles, pivots), standing, kneeling, barricade, cover and concealment, low percentage shots, assess and scanning drills/protocols, distance shooting (1 yard to 25 yards), situational awareness and defense principles, security and lockdown procedures, defensive tactics, human reaction time, maintaining fitness to survive, legal lecture, your duties while carrying a gun, use of lethal force, force continuum, concealed carry techniques, and human reactions under stress.

PISTOL RESPONSE 2 - SHOOTING ON THE MOVE
This is the 2nd course in the Pistol Response series for defenders who conceal carry to respond with a pistol when deadly force is needed to stop bad guys.

- You will learn: This course builds upon the fundamentals gained in Pistol Response 1 while focusing on movement. Movement is what keeps us from being a static target. Students will begin to master critical firearm handling and immediate action skills under stress and movement. Skills include moving off the X on the draw, side steps, pivots, shooting forwards, backwards, serpentine motion, flanking movements, various applicable shoot and move drills. Shooting range (3 yards to 25 yards)

This course focuses on red dot sights in our Pistol Response series for defenders who conceal carry to respond with a pistol when deadly force is needed to stop bad guys.

RIFLE RESPONSE 1 - PRONE RIFLE MARKSMANSHIP
This is the first course in the Rifle Response series designed to teach everyday civilians, law enforcement, and military personnel combat marksmanship with the service.
